About Jammap

From the Jammap team. Updated 4 Oct 2026.

What Jammap is

Jammap is a map of Friday prayer (Jumu’ah) times. Open it and it shows the mosques near you, when each one’s khutbah and prayer start, how far away they are, and whether the gathering meets the conditions of your school of thought. Today this site lists 3,897 mosques with a time read from their own page, in 42 countries.

How a time gets on the map

The mosque pages on this site only show times read from the mosque’s own page. Times copied from directories, and times read from social media posts, are not on them. In the app, a time that came from a directory is marked as such.

If your mosque’s time is wrong

Times change: summer and winter, Ramadan, a new hall. If a time on Jammap is wrong, email us with the mosque’s name and a link to the page where you publish your Friday times, and we’ll put the right one on the map. In the app, you can also tap “This time is wrong” on the mosque.

Privacy

You can use Jammap without an account. To find the mosques near you, the centre of the map is sent to us and isn’t stored; the privacy policy has the rest. You can also see how to delete your data.
